Installation

1. Turn Off Power

Disconnect power at the circuit breaker before installation. Installation should be completed in accordance with applicable electrical requirements.

2. Confirm the Ceiling Opening

Check the actual downlight dimensions and required ceiling opening before cutting. Confirm that there is sufficient installation space above the ceiling.

3. Connect the Power Supply

Connect the downlight according to the supplied wiring instructions and confirm that the AC input is within the supported 100–240V range.

4. Install the Downlight

Insert the recessed light into the prepared ceiling opening and make sure the white housing is securely seated and correctly aligned with the ceiling surface.

5. Download the Smart App

Install the Smart Life or Tuya app on your mobile device and create or sign in to your account.

6. Connect to 2.4GHz WiFi

Follow the pairing instructions in the app and connect the downlight to a compatible 2.4GHz WiFi network.

7. Configure Smart Controls

After pairing, adjust RGB colors, white color temperature, brightness, schedules, scenes, and group settings through the app.

8. Connect Voice Assistants

If required, link the Smart Life / Tuya account with a compatible Alexa or Google Home system and follow the platform instructions to enable voice control.

Installation Note: Do not use this model with a traditional wall dimmer switch. Brightness adjustment is designed to be controlled through compatible app or voice functions. Confirm the ceiling opening, wiring, WiFi compatibility, and installation conditions before completing installation.
